Living Room Theaters is the first of its kind for Indianapolis, boasting a mix of exclusive new releases and the most talked about independent films that critics and audiences love, in a sophisticated, comfortable environment. Chatham Tap opened its doors on Mass Ave in Indianapolis in September of 2007 with the goal of bringing a pub in the tradition of the English “local” to the Chatham-Arch neighborhood of Indianapolis.

While keeping with the friendly and laid back tradition of a neighborhood pub, we sought to rise above the “pub-grub” level with our menu.  Emphasizing sandwiches and appetizers, our award-winning menu is a unique combination of flavors and styles, with plenty of vegetarian options as well as enough choices for the carnivores out there.  Yes, you will find wings, nachos, and pizza on our menu.  But we hope they are unlike any wings, nachos, or pizza you’ve ever had.

And what would a pub be without beer?  We offer a wide range of draught and bottled beer, from the best local breweries all the way to the best England and Europe have to offer.  Our rotating selection of seasonal and specialty draughts means there will always be something new to try.

If you’re a soccer fan and don’t mind waking up a little early, Chatham Tap is the place to watch your favorite team whether it’s the
English Premier League, Champions League, World Cup, or European Championships.  You’ll find plenty of dedicated and knowledgeable fans ready to discuss last week’s results, next week’s matches, and everything in between.

Named after Alexander Ralston, the engineer who after moving to the United States from Scotland, was hired in 1820 to help survey our city. In 1821, Ralston was then commissioned by the Indiana General Assembly to make a city plan for Indianapolis. As originally planned, the city’s 1-square mile footprint included the Governor’s mansion placed centrally on a large circular commons. Demolished in 1857, the original Governor’s mansion was replaced by what we know today as Monument Circle featuring the 284-foot tall limestone and bronze Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument.

The Canal Walk is a 3-mile loop along the Central Canal that runs from White River State Park up to 11th street in Indianapolis. The Canal Walk is part of the Indiana Central Canal, which was dug in the early 1800s, in an effort to facilitate interstate commerce. Today, the refurbished Canal Walk serves the downtown community as a waterside promenade for walkers, runners, bikers and sightseers. The canal itself includes a steady stream of pedal boats, which may be rented west of the Indiana State Museum.

Indiana Repertory Theatre, frequently abbreviated IRT, is a professional regional theatre in Indianapolis, Indiana that began as a genuine repertory theatre with its casts performing in multiple shows at once. It has subsequently become a regional theatre and a member of the League of Resident Theatres.

Indiana is one of the few states in the nation that has all three branches of government operating out of the historic state capitol building. In 1825, after nine years of statehood, the capitol city was relocated from Corydon to Indianapolis. Plans for the current statehouse began in 1867 and the building was completed in 1888. It is constructed of Indiana limestone and white oak. The beautiful stained glass rotunda window is original and made from German glass.

Serving as the center of civic life in Indiana since 1888, the Indiana Statehouse is an outstanding architectural beauty and is constructed of Indiana-sourced oak and limestone. Tours are available of this four-story home of the Indiana House of Representatives, Indiana State Senate, Indiana Supreme Court, and Indiana Courts of Appeals.

The Indiana War Memorial Plaza Historic District includes the 30,000 square foot IWM Museum complete with military equipment and artifacts, three parks, four fountains, and 25 acres of monuments, statues, and sculptures in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. The IWM's properties include the Indiana War Memorial, the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, the Indiana World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War Memorials, the USS Indianapolis (CA-35) Memorial, the Medal of Honor Memorial, the 9/11 Memorial, and the Indiana Gold Star Families Memorial. 

No state has a city with more monuments dedicated to veterans than Indiana's capital, and no city in the country maintains more acreage honoring veterans than Indianapolis.

The Phoenix Theatre has presented productions since 1983. An Equity house, the Phoenix presents the Midwest and Indiana premieres of many Broadway and Off-Broadway plays, and has presented 94 World Premieres. The Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site, previously known as the Benjamin Harrison Home, is the former home of the 23rd president of the United States, Benjamin Harrison. It is in the Old Northside Historic District of Indianapolis, Indiana. Harrison's 16-room house was built from 1874 to 1875.
