Brookside Park is a 108-acre urban park in Indianapolis. It is located at 3501 Brookside Parkway North Drive on the near eastside of Indianapolis, just north of the Rural-Sherman neighborhood. The park straddles Pogue's Run, a tributary of the White River. There are plenty of outdoor activities with disc golf courses and an aquatic center.

Located between the JW Marriott Hotel on Washington Street and the Indiana State Museum, they have been growing food at the farm at White River State Park since 2010. This farm site is nearly 6,000 square feet.

Because of this garden’s unique location, more than 3.5 million visitors each year have the opportunity to interact with this urban farming site. Their hope is that it stimulates visitors to ask questions about the role of urban agriculture in Indianapolis and in their home countries, cities and towns
